Although DVPUTT will work extremely well with certain firewire camcorder models, for ease of use we highly recommend using the Philips SPC 900NC USB webcam. To use a camcorder successfully you must manually set the shutter speed and exposure where as the webcam can be set directly from the DVPUTT software.
